Ok so here is an appreciation post for my brother Farhan Iqbal. My hard drive was almost dead and had some of the most important data of mine(work related) im a photographer by profession. It was a 4tb hard drive, this guy is a magician, he did wonders to it and now its working perfectly fine. He is a very reliable and trustworthy person. Highly recommended. The best about him is he wont cash your problem for his good. Charges are very reasonable. Bless you bhaijan.

Data recovery is one of those experiences that I do not wish on anyone. However, Farhan Iqbal recover my data comprehensively. With a handful of exceptions, all my data had been successfully recovered. Most importantly, Farhan Iqbal provides regular feedback during the recovery process. So last Saturday, I was on a shoot since morning. After pack-up we guys had dinner and then we had to stay at the location till morning so we thought to watch some horror movie at 3 AM. I suggested we should watch The Exorcist (1979), one of my most favorite horror movies to date. So once the movie was downloaded, I asked a friend if you have a USB so we can watch the movie on the LED screen, he instantly gave me a 64GB USB stick. I plugged it in my laptop and I asked him your USB seems very loaded can I format it and he replied: "haan haan ura de sab. So after formatting it I copied movie and plugged it in LED, the format was not supported by LED software, we all were like WTF on which replied don't worry let me convert it to a suitable format that can easily be played, I plugged USB back on my laptop and BOOOOOOM! The drive I formatted was not the USB but my own data drive. For that moment I literally felt as if am struck with some BIJLI. I started panicking and instantly went to LAAL SCHOOL (Youtube) to look for options. Now when your anxiety is on the peak you naturally look for quick options so I was going through all the videos that had instant solutions and I started downloading all the suggested software, during whole this process; waise to mein bohat sakht londa hoon laikin yahan mein pighal gaya I had tears in my eyes as this had all my personal and work data. A friend suggested, "oye sun soul brothers pe likh!" and I instantly did that, a friend of mine suggested that there was this guy a few days back who did some recovery for someone, let me try finding him, I was lucky enough that he found the guy and tagged me in some previous post. He seemed so calmed to me and I was like this guy might be too smart or might he be a fraud? don't wanna lie, but in such a situation, we as Pakistanis find it difficult to trust anyone, especially when you are handing over something that is expensive or that is way too precious for you, but did I have any option? No! so I gave him the laptop and left. My entire day was busy, I had one performance lined up and later a family dawat at night. I was in touch with him the entire day and he was updating me with every step about the status of recovery. In the evening at nearly 7 PM he said boss your data will be retrieved within a maximum 1 more hour. I was like WOO00000000000000oooof! He charged me decently and recovered 500GB data and cherry on the top; he delivered my laptop as well. Basically a super talented and responsible guy he is. LEARNINGS. If you ever come across such a situation, never try things on your own if you think that you are doubtful about it. Never hide any jugaars that you have already applied on your own with the IT guy, it makes his life miserable. Also, if you are retrieving data never use the same drive that you are doing it for, instead use an external drive. And last but not the least, agar bohat nind mein hain to sojayen horror movies kabhi kabhi real horror ban jati hain:D A BIG SHOUT OUT TO Farhan Iqbal
